What is PROCISION?

What is Procision?
PROCISION is a structural analysis tool integrated with Pro/Engineer package.
PROCISION does not use finite elements. It performs meshless analysis, which makes
it ideal for fully detailed solid models (typically automeshers of FEM-based packages require
parts to be de-featured). Presently PROCISION supports Linear Static, Steady State Thermal,
Modal, Frequency Response, Time Response, and Random Response analyses.
Does PROCISION run with any other CAD systems besides PTC?
Not currently, but it has been planned and prepared for. Version 4.0+ is already
much less Pro/Engineer-dependent and it incorporates solid architectural base that will allow
relatively easy expansion for other systems. This is one of the priorities of our future development.
Are there any comparisons between PROCISION and exact solutions?
Yes, and a Verification Manual is available. You may download

Is there a network license option for Procision?
Yes. Purchased licenses are most usually floating, the license
can be shared from one server to any type of platform which supports PROCISION.
